Ageing may be inevitable, but maintaining strength, independence, and well-being is within your control. This realisation inspired the creation of Osteo Fit & Strong, a programme that has already supported hundreds of individuals on their journey toward an optimised way of living.

Who is Osteo Fit & Strong For?

Village Wellness’ Osteo Fit & Strong programme is designed for anyone looking to grow stronger through the power of movement.

The classes are particularly safe for anyone living with osteoporosis, joint mobility challenges, wanting to improve their bone health, or recovering from injury. 

This class is also an excellent choice for menopause strength and resistance training. As our hormones decline, our bones may weaken. It is important at this stage to support your bone density and maintain your lean muscle mass with resistance training and essential macronutrients. 

What to Expect?

Village Wellness is a mature, non-judgemental space where you can safely challenge yourself and grow stronger with each visit while prioritising your long-term wellness and independence.

Bone-Friendly Movements: As we age, we need to maintain bone density and muscle mass. Our classes combine safe yoga, Pilates, and resistance training to improve bone density, enhance muscle mass, and build overall strength. You improve mobility while you get stronger. 

Use of Equipment: Supported by expert instructors, we incorporate weights, resistance bands, and chairs to deliver a safe, adaptable workout tailored to your individual needs. You’ll learn how to lift weights in an enjoyable and supportive class environment, surrounded by like-minded people.

Mindful Practices: We integrate mindful techniques and breathing exercises to relieve stress, making the experience both effective and relaxing.

Safe and Inclusive: Our Limerick bone health classes are designed to suit people of all fitness levels, ages, and abilities. You will learn to lift weights and we offer modifications and support available to ensure progress for all participants.

Course Structure

Our 6-week Osteo Fit & Strong courses in Limerick and online (coming soon!) are designed to help you gradually build strength, improve mobility, and achieve lasting progress. Led by experienced instructors, these classes focus on overall well-being, making them perfect for anyone looking to maintain or build muscle, get strong, and stay strong while promoting flexibility and joint mobility. We’ll empower you and take the guesswork out of strength training, ensuring it’s safe and accessible for all.

Classes run from January to June and September to December, with a summer break in July and August.
